Endive Salad Mix 200g


Our Endive Salad Mix is a mix of green salad leaves with a little bit of Endive Lettuce. Endives can be eaten raw or cooked. When raw, endives are crisp and bitter, making them a great addition to salads. Endive is a good source of Vitamin E, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Fibre, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Folate, Pantothenic Acid, Calcium, Iron, Potassium, Zinc, Copper and Manganese. The Cape Food Farm Gardener tells us, the general rule of thumb is, the more bitter a leaf, the better it is for your liver!
